Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the HB Safety website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Orders & Acceptance

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by HB Safety.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where products are unavailable, pricing errors occur, payment cannot be authorised or where we are otherwise unable to fulfil an order.

An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of your order. Acceptance takes place when your goods are dispatched.

2. Pricing

All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£).

VAT will be charged where applicable.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure prices are accurate, HB Safety reserves the right to correct any pricing errors. If an error affects your order, you will be contacted before the order is processed.

3. Payment

Full payment is required before goods are dispatched unless an approved trade credit account has been agreed in writing.

We accept payment using the payment methods displayed during checkout.

4. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on stock availability, supplier lead times and courier services.

Some products may be supplied directly from our approved suppliers.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.

5. Product Suitability & Liability

It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that products purchased are suitable for their intended application and comply with all relevant health and safety requirements.

HB Safety provides product information, specifications and guidance on the features and intended uses of products in good faith. We can advise on the specifications and intended use of our products but do not carry out workplace risk assessments or determine the specific PPE required for a customer's particular application.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products purchased are appropriate for their own requirements and any applicable health and safety regulations.

HB Safety accepts no liability for the misuse, incorrect selection or misapplication of products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for faulty products where required by law.

6. Trade Accounts

Trade credit accounts are available subject to approval by HB Safety and may require the completion of a credit application.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms are strictly 30 days from the date of invoice.

HB Safety reserves the right to:

Decline or withdraw a trade credit account.
Set and review credit limits.
Suspend accounts where payment terms are exceeded.
Require payment in full before supplying further goods where payment terms have not been met.

Late payment may result in the suspension or withdrawal of credit facilities.

HB Safety reserves the right to charge statutory interest, fixed compensation and recover reasonable debt recovery costs in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, where applicable.

If payment remains outstanding, HB Safety reserves the right to commence legal proceedings to recover the outstanding debt together with any interest, compensation, costs and legal fees recoverable by law.

Ownership of all goods supplied by HB Safety remains with HB Products & Print Ltd until payment has been received in full and cleared funds have been received.

7. Returns & Cancellations

Returns and cancellations are governed by our separate Returns & Cancellations Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, product descriptions and branding, is the property of HB Safety or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.
